About Us

Practical action. Measurable impact. Children first.

The World Humanitarian Service Foundation (WHSF) kicked off its humanitarian efforts back in 2010, focusing on helping vulnerable children, families, and communities in Northern Ghana. As the organization grew, it officially became a registered non-governmental organization in 2016. Since then, WHSF has been dedicated to providing support for orphans, educational aid, food relief, water and sanitation projects, livelihood programs, and community development initiatives—all aimed at enhancing lives and creating lasting opportunities for those in need.

Our Story

Action over intention — a foundation built in Northern Ghana.

Northern Ghana faces high poverty, child vulnerability and limited access to essential services. WHSF began its humanitarian work in 2010 and was officially registered as an NGO in 2016 — to do something about it directly. Where many organizations talk about their intentions, we focus on direct engagement with beneficiaries, transparent use of funds, trackable impact and community accountability. Every child matters.
